yaliwunga is an Aboriginal-owned and run NDIS supports service for youth and mob

HOW WE HELP

At yaliwunga we provide NDIS supports. We’ll connect you with an independent support worker who cares about keeping youth and mob happy, safe and connected, always.

If you know what NDIS supports you need – like culturally safe community access, capacity building, medication support or a yarn with mob you can trust, we’re ready to hear from you. Contact us here.

But if you don’t know what NDIS supports you need, that’s okay too. Supporting youths, aunties, uncles, brothers and sisters is what we do best at yaliwunga . All you need to do is fill in our contact form and we’ll explain what Aboriginal support services we can offer based on your situation and your NDIS package.

Navigating the NDIS can feel overwhelming, but Yaliwunga makes the process simpler. From guidance on applying for funding to choosing the right supports, we guide mob every step of the way. Our deadly team ensures that services remain culturally safe, respectful, and inclusive, helping participants achieve their goals while staying connected to culture and community.

Day-t0-Day Support

Daily Aboriginal support services (sometimes called Home Care) is more than just home organisation, cooking and cleaning assistance – although we do this too. At yaliwunga we want you to feel independent without feeling isolated, and enjoy a home that feels like home by providing NDIS supports.

Community Access

For mob, community access is cultural access. Connection to country is about exploring your local community, reconnecting with nature and finding activities that make you feel good physically and emotionally. You take the lead and we’ll support you every step of the way with NDIS supports.

Yarns & Cultural Services

yaliwunga yarns are a safe, one on one catch-up for you to share what’s on your mind. We welcome LGBTQI+ youth, sister girls and brother boys and anyone who need a culturally safe, supportive listening ear. We can talk about drug and alcohol use, sexuality and safe sex, family or mob troubles or even how to start walking a path that feels good for YOU.

Support means different things to different people. Here at yaliwunga we want to do more than just put eggs and milk in the fridge. We provide NDIS supports and connect you with independent support workers that help you to find independence, discover what being Aboriginal means to YOU, connect with mob you can lean on and trust, and navigate discrimination.

Whether it’s art therapy, decluttering your room, community access or deeper cultural connection, we promise to always care and always put YOU first with our Aboriginal NDIS supports.
